EBC National President Vallapureddy Ravinder Reddy has welcomed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s decision to extend the benefits of the Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Vikas Scheme to unemployed youth from economically weaker sections (EWS) among the upper castes in the state.
He urged the government to extend the application deadline for the scheme from April 5 to April 30 to allow more eligible candidates to apply.
Additionally, Ravinder Reddy appealed to the Chief Minister to establish an EBC Corporation in the state and implement the scheme through this dedicated body. He emphasized that this initiative would greatly benefit unemployed youth from economically disadvantaged backgrounds among upper castes, providing them with vital self-employment opportunities.
