Visakhapatnam is all set to host the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025, jointly organised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on November 14 and 15. With the theme “Partners in Progress – India’s Roadmap to Viksit Bharat 2047,” the summit aims to project Andhra Pradesh as India’s premier investment destination under the banner ‘Invest in Andhra Pradesh’.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will personally oversee the four-day programme, which includes high-level meetings, MoU signings, project inaugurations, and cultural events. The state government expects Rs 10 lakh crore worth of investments and over 30 MoUs to be finalized during the event.
The summit will bring together more than 100 international delegates from countries including Singapore, the UAE, the UK, Italy, Sweden, Taiwan, and Japan. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the summit, while Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will open the Andhra Pavilion. Top industrialists such as Yusuff Ali, Baba Kalyani, and Karan Adani are among the invited dignitaries.
The Chief Minister’s packed schedule includes meetings with leading firms like Bharat Forge, Renew Power, Hero Future Engineers, and Google. Naidu will also participate in the ‘AI for Viksit Bharat’ session, outlining how artificial intelligence can drive Andhra Pradesh’s economic growth. Key highlights include the launch of World Economic Forum’s Centre for Frontier Technologies, and foundation stones for several projects, including Lulu Mall in Visakhapatnam.
The government has mounted a large-scale effort to showcase Andhra Pradesh as a global trade gateway on India’s east coast, focusing on investments in green energy, IT, automobiles, electronics, space, and tourism. With Chief Minister Naidu stationed in Visakhapatnam for four days, the city is poised to become the epicenter of India’s next big investment story.
