Dynamic Star Vishnu Manchu’s dream project ‘Kannappa’ is gearing up for its grand release. 

Featuring a stellar cast including Vishnu Manchu, Preity Mukundhan, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Mohanlal, Mukesh Rishi and Kajal Aggarwal, the film is produced by Dr. M Mohan Babu under the banners of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the movie is slated for release on June 27. As part of the aggressive promotions, a grand pre-release event was held on Saturday in Guntur.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Mohan Babu said ‘Kannappa is blessed by Lord Shiva himself. We have poured 7 to 8 years of hard work into this film. I won’t go into how much my son toiled to bring this to life. The effort speaks for itself.’

‘Mohanlal is a versatile actor, a true pride of Indian cinema. His recent Malayalam films were huge hits. When asked to be a part of Kannappa, he immediately said yes. Actors like Sarath Kumar, Akshay Kumar, and Brahmanandam were all brought to this film by divine will,’ said Mohan Babu.

‘Prabhudeva is ranked as the second-best dance master in the world. He taught me what dance truly is. I request everyone to bless Kannappa, releasing on June 27,’ he added.
