War rages, Gaza marks Eid with empty plates

Amidst the devastation of war, Palestinians in Gaza marked Eid al-Adha with somber outdoor prayers on Friday, as the conflict with Israel showed no signs of abating. With much of the Strip in ruins, traditional prayers were held in open spaces, and families struggled to find food for 3-day feast.
“This is the worst feast,” lamented Kamel Emran in Khan Younis, highlighting severe shortages of food and shelter.
