We need to keep law & order in Hyderabad under control and prevent crimes: CV Anand

To further improve the performance of law and order and other departments under the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate limits, C V Anand, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad has issued orders attaching 573 AR Police Constables (Women-223 and Men-350) working at CAR headquarters, Hyderabad to all 71 Law and Order Police Stations in Hyderabad City-284, Traffic Department-225, Special Branch-25, Task Force-25, H New-8, Cyber Crime-6.

An interaction session was held at the ICCC building in Banjara Hills, with the 573 attached CAR constables. After the training 450 civil constables and 873 CAR constables reported for duty. After allotting an additional 10 platoons of 200 constables and another 100 constables as drivers, the balance 573 are being attached to police stations, traffic and other wings to fill up some of the vacancies and provide more hands to do civil police duties.

On this occasion, Police Commissioner C V Anand told police constables that they are facilitators for the economic development of Hyderabad, they need to keep law and order in Hyderabad under control and prevent crimes. Therefore, there is a need to increase patrolling to prevent crimes.

He said that Hyderabad city should be kept peaceful, only then will investments come to our state, GDP will increase, and our capital Hyderabad city will get a good name, he said.

The Police Commissioner told constables that they should work together with the civil police and the job of a civil police officer always involves working with the public. Need a lot of patience and tolerance, they will have to work among different sections of people, CP said.

He said that Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana, maintaining peace and security is an important duty of all of us. He congratulated everyone on joining the duties of the civil police. He told them that this is only an attachment and does not entitle them to any rights of seniority or conversion and is being done to overcome the severe shortage of civil police which is adversely affecting patrolling and basic duties in police stations.

He advised that whenever you receive any small information or witness any incident while on duty, you should immediately inform the higher authorities without neglecting it.
