20 years imprisonment in POCSO case

A special sessions judge for POCSO Act Cases convicted the accused and awarded Rigorous Imprisonment for 20 (Twenty) years, imposed a fine of Rs. 11,000/-, and ordered compensation of Rs. 2,00,000/- to be paid to the victim girl. All necessary scientific, medical, and documentary evidence was collected and a strong charge sheet was filed before the Court.
Mohammed Yaseen, aged 20, a driver and resident of Dharji Basthi, Risala Bazar, Bollarum committed the sexual offence against a minor girl. The case was investigated by K. Srinivasulu, Sub-Inspector of Police, Bollarum.
