The Young India Skills University (YISU) and the Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation (HKMCF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday to jointly design and implement a unique capacity-building initiative titled “Seva with Skill” aimed at developing professional, hygienic, disciplined, and value-driven support staff for institutional kitchens and allied services.
The MoU signing took place in Hyderabad and was attended by V.L.V.S.S. Subba Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Young India Skills University and His Grace Sri Satya Gaura Chandra DasaPrabhu, President, Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation, along with senior officials from both institutions. Under the MoU, the “Seva with Skill” programme will comprise two months of classroom-based learning, followed by 15 days of supervised on-the-job training.
