Hyderabad: On the second anniversary of his government, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy released an emotional open letter on X, thanking the state’s four crore people for giving him the courage and mandate to lead. He reflected on transforming a debt-ridden, stagnant Telangana—left in “ruins” by the previous regime—into a land of opportunities for the youth.

Key achievements highlighted include a “festival of jobs,” loan waivers and Rythu Bharosa for farmers, financial empowerment of women through the Mahalakshmi scheme, free bus travel, 200 units of free electricity, Rs. 500 gas cylinders, Indiramma houses, and a Rs. 500 bonus for fine grains. The government delivered on long-pending demands by implementing SC sub-categorisation, fulfilling the Madiga community’s aspirations, and launched Young India Integrated Model Schools, Skill University, and Sports University.

The iconic “Jaya Jayahe Telangana” song was officially recognised as the state anthem. Looking ahead to India’s independence centenary in 2047, Revanth unveiled a visionary roadmap to make Telangana India’s growth engine and a global player. Initiatives like Bharat Future City and the upcoming Telangana Global Summit aim to script a bold new future. Ending on an emotional note, he declared: “Your blessings are my weapon… As long as Telangana stands with me, there will be no turning back for “TelanganaRising.”
