In a significant turn in the case involving TDP worker Isukapalli Raju, YSRCP leader and former MP Nandigam Suresh was taken into police custody today by Tulluru police, following orders issued by the Mangalagiri court.

Currently under judicial remand at Guntur Sub-Jail, Suresh was brought into custody for a three-day interrogation period. He has been shifted to the Tulluru Police Station, where officials will conduct in-depth questioning and record his statement.

Suresh was arrested by Tulluru police on the evening of May 18 and produced before the Mangalagiri court, which remanded him until June 2. He was then sent to Guntur Sub-Jail. It is worth noting that Nandigam Suresh had previously spent three months in jail in connection with a separate woman murder case and was recently released on bail.
