In a large-scale political development in the Rayachoti region, around 400 workers of the YSR Congress Party on Sunday formally joined the Jana Sena Party, citing inspiration from the ideology and vision of party chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

The large-scale induction programme was held in Vontimitta mandal of the Rajampet Assembly constituency under the leadership of Rajampet Parliamentary Coordinator Athikari Krishna. State Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh attended the event and formally welcomed the new entrants by draping them with Jana Sena scarves.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Durgesh called upon the newly inducted members to work like disciplined soldiers to bring about meaningful social change, in line with the ideals of Pawan Kalyan. He urged party workers to take Jana Sena’s principles to the grassroots, remain accessible to the public at all times, and actively engage in resolving people’s issues. The Minister also appealed to them to become active stakeholders in the development initiatives being undertaken by the coalition government.

Athikari Krishna said Jana Sena was steadily gaining strength in the Rajampet constituency, reflecting growing public demand for political change. He expressed confidence that the party’s grassroots expansion would continue in the coming days.

The programme witnessed the participation of senior Jana Sena leaders from Ontimitta mandal, along with a large number of party cadres and Veeramahilas, who ensured the success of the event.
