Mona begins shooting for her next

Mona Singh has now officially begun shooting for her next big film project. Taking to her social media to share a glimpse from the picturesque location in the Cotswolds, Mona expressed her excitement about stepping into this new creative world. She captioned her post, “This project/movie feels special and unprecedented, its because we have thrown out the old rule book. #actorslife #cotswold #makingmovies #instamood #oct2026.”

Melting pot of artists

As per reports, the project is directed by Vikas Bahl. The film brings together an ensemble of Indian and international actors, musicians, and performers to recreate a moment when an entire generation began to discover that perhaps belonging wasn’t something they needed to ask permission for. Set in Britain in the early 1990s, the film unfolds against the rise of the UK Punjabi music movement a turbulent and exhilarating time when a generation growing up between cultures began turning up the volume from garages, backrooms, pirate radio stations, and underground gigs.
