ACB raids TGTRANSCO engineer's properties

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids at the residences and other properties linked to TGTRANSCO Deputy Engineer (DE) Mutyam Venkataramana in Hyderabad and several other locations across Telangana over allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Acting on the allegations, the ACB deployed eight teams to carry out coordinated searches at around 15 locations, including the officer's residences and properties belonging to his relatives. The raids are aimed at verifying allegations that he accumulated movable and immovable assets beyond his legitimate income.

During the ongoing searches, ACB officials are examining property documents, financial records, cash and other materials believed to be linked to the case. One of the searches is being conducted at the officer's residence in Meenakshi Sky Towers, HITEC City. The operation is being supervised by ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Majid Ali Khan. Officials said the searches are still in progress, and the value of the assets detected will be disclosed after the verification process is completed. The ACB is expected to issue a detailed report once the raids conclude. No official statement on the outcome of the searches has been released so far.
