YRP Foundation holds annual scholarship distribution event

YRP Foundation, under the leadership of Yelishala Ravi Prasad, Founder & Chairman of Vaishnaoi Group and YRP Foundation organized on Wednesday its annual scholarship distribution ceremony at the Vaishnaoi Group Corporate Office. The event was graced by Dr. Justice Shameem Akhtar, Chairperson of the Telangana State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) as the Chief Guest and Dr. J. Purnachandra Rao Ex-DGP and retired IAS officer M. Jagadeeshwar as the Guests of Honour. The dignitaries appreciated YRP Foundation's sustained efforts in promoting education, social welfare and nation-building through impactful community initiatives.

As part of its scholarship program for the academic year 2026–27, YRP Foundation distributed scholarships worth Rs 74 lakh to 187 deserving students from Hyderabad, Nalgonda and various parts of Telangana. The scholarships, covering students who are pursuing MBBS, Engineering, Degree, Intermediate, School, and Nursery education, were awarded through programs conducted over the past week.

Addressing the gathering, Yelishala Ravi Prasad described education as the ‘greatest investment one can make in society’. He mentioned that deserving student should have the opportunity to pursue his or her dreams without financial hardship and added that YRP foundation’s responsibility does not end with providing scholarships but rather it ‘begins with nurturing hope and creating opportunities.’
