ALEAP hosts national level startup meet

The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP), through its flagship incubation centre AIC ALEAP WE HUB, hosted a national-level conclave “SUSHRUTA 2026 – Advancing Health & MedTech Excellence: Startup Conclave” at Hotel Trident on Thursday. The event, supported by Atal Innovation Mission – NITI Aayog, Ministry of MSME, MeitY and Startup India brought together stakeholders from the healthcare and innovation ecosystem.

The inaugural session included closing remarks by K. Rama Devi, President of ALEAP and a theme introduction on SUSHRUTA 2026 by Dr. Zahoorullah, Chief Innovation Officer, AIC ALEAP WE HUB. Dr. Ramesh Pothineni, HOD and Managing Director of Aster Ramesh Hospitals, Vijayawada, interacted with innovative startups. The conclave also witnessed the launch of “Scheme Saathi”, a WhatsApp AI Assistant website and the disbursement of grant certificates under the MeitY GENESIS scheme.

Following the inaugural session, the conclave featured expert-led panel discussions, startup showcases, and thematic technical sessions. The first panel, moderated by Roopa Maganti, discussed “Bridging Healthcare Gaps: Solving Medical Challenges through Startup Innovation. Thematic sessions covered topics such as “Comprehensive Longevity – Only with AI” by Dr. Suresh Munuswamy, Biomedical Devices & Instrumentation by Dr. Rachana of Huwel Lifesciences and Patient Care & Pain Management by Dr. Srinadh Boppana.
