The teams of Alwal Police Station, CCS Medchal and SOT Medchal Zone cracked a double murder case within 72 hours by apprehending the accused person. Arrested person was identified as Chinthakindi Anil Kumar (40), resident of Krishna Nagar Colony, Macha Bollarum.

On May 4, a complaint was received from one Bojja Latha, resident of Macha Bollarum. She stated that On May 3, 2025, at around 7pm, her parents visited her home and left around 8pm. The next morning, May 4, at 7:30pm, she went to her parents’ house to deliver a milk packet and found them lying on cots with severe head injuries and bleeding. Unidentified persons had killed them by assaulting them with a stick and stolen gold jewellery and silver anklets.

The police registered a case at Alwal Police station and plunged into investigation and identified the accused as Chinthakindi Anil Kumar. Police said the accused was involved in 21 theft cases including robbery case, rape-cum-murder case, three extortion cases, and attempt to murder cases.
