Andhra students shine in National ITI examinations

Andhra Pradesh has once again demonstrated its growing strength in skill-based education, with 17 students from the state securing top ranks in various trades in the All India ITI examinations. Of these, three outstanding performers were felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a ceremony held in New Delhi. The recognition came during the ‘Kaushal Dikshant Samaroh’ held at Vigyan Bhavan, where the Prime Minister personally presented certificates to P. Madhulatha (R&AC Technician), D. Vandana (Painter General), and S. Yamini Varalakshmi (Wood Work Technician). 

The annual event honored students who excel in skill training and national trade tests.The success of Andhra Pradesh students has been attributed to reforms initiated by the state government. By linking ITI colleges with industries and introducing modern, hands-on training modules, the government has strengthened opportunities for practical learning. Officials noted that these measures not only help students achieve excellence in national examinations but also prepare them for lucrative global employment opportunities.

IT&Education Minister Nara Lokesh congratulated the achievers, praising their hard work and dedication. He congratulated the students by saying that these results showed the potential of the state’s youth when provided with the right training and opportunities. He reiterated that the government will continue to collaborate with national and international companies to enhance skill development and expand career prospects for the students.
