Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday projected Andhra Pradesh as the most attractive destination for investments in India, declaring that the state has both the track record and the ecosystem to draw global capital. He was addressing the curtain-raiser of the 30th CII Partnership Summit in New Delhi, alongside Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, diplomats, and leading industrialists.
Inviting investors from India and abroad to participate in the Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 14–15, Naidu said Andhra Pradesh is committed to a new model of governance that emphasizes not just Ease of Doing Business, but the “Speed of Doing Business.”
The Chief Minister laid out an ambitious vision for the state, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047 mission. “We have crafted the Swarna Andhra Vision 2047 with the goal of transforming Andhra Pradesh into a $2.4 trillion economy. We are working on ten principles that include logistics, deep technology, and product excellence,” he said.
He noted that Andhra Pradesh is positioning itself as a renewable energy powerhouse, with projects in solar, wind, pumped energy, and green hydrogen. The state has set a target to contribute 160 GW out of India’s 500 GW renewable energy goal, making it a pivotal player in the country’s green energy transition.
Highlighting innovation, Naidu announced that by January 2026, a quantum computer will be operational in Amaravati, with local manufacturing of quantum devices expected within two years.
Naidu underlined the state’s strategic coastal advantage, with world-class ports, industrial corridors, and logistics hubs under development. He pointed to upcoming Google’s second-largest data centre in Visakhapatnam, after the U.S., as evidence of the state’s growing tech prominence.
Sectors ranging from semiconductors, aerospace, space tech, and electronics to advanced food processing, education, healthcare, and tourism were flagged as high-potential investment avenues. “We have immense natural resources, skilled youth, and a government committed to reform and transparency. Andhra Pradesh is ready to host global-scale industries,” Naidu said.
Recalling his earlier role in building Hyderabad into a global IT hub, Naidu emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s proven record in attracting investments. “We developed Hyderabad into one of the finest cities in the world. Today, we are building Amaravati as a green city, while ensuring water security by linking the Krishna and Godavari rivers. Investors can rely on Andhra Pradesh’s stable government and policies for long-term growth,” he added.
Urging industry leaders and diplomats to visit Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Minister stressed that seeing the state’s opportunities firsthand would inspire confidence. “We invite you to Visakhapatnam for the Partnership Summit. Once you see Andhra Pradesh, you will want to invest here,” he said.
The event concluded with a strong pitch for balanced, sustainable, and innovation-driven growth, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s ambition to become a hub for both domestic and global investors.
