Final voter roll unveils 3.99 lakh electors

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Telangana, Sudarshan Reddy, released the final electoral roll for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly bye-election on Tuesday. The revised list, based on the qualifying date of July 1, 2025, records a total of 3,98,982 voters, with the inclusion of 18 service voters bringing the final tally to 3,99,000. This reflects a 1.61% increase from the initial draft roll of 3,92,669 voters published on September 2, 2025. The constituency comprises 2,07,367 male voters, 1,91,590 female voters, and 25 transgender voters, yielding a gender ratio of 924 women per 1,000 men.

The electorate includes diverse categories: 6,106 young voters aged 18-19, 2,613 senior citizens above 80 years, and 1,891 persons with disabilities (PwD), with 519 visually impaired, 667 having locomotive disabilities, 311 with speech or hearing impairments, and 722 in other categories. Additionally, 95 overseas voters (NRIs) are registered. The final roll incorporates 6,976 new voters and removes 663, as per the attached documents.

The bye-election will utilize 407 polling stations across 139 locations, supported by 407 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and 38 BLO Supervisors, as detailed in the attached notes. The electoral roll, available since 30.09.2025, can be accessed at the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) office, the CEO’s website (https://voters.eci.gov. in), the CEO Telangana website (www.ceotelangana.nic.in), or via the Voters Helpline App. Voters can verify their names and submit claims or objections in Form-6, Form-7, and Form-8 until the last receipt of nominations, with appeals directed to the District Election Officer or Chief Electoral Officer under the Representation of Peoples Act, 1950.
