Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to chair a crucial State-Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) meeting on February 10. Officials will conduct the 229th and 230th editions of the meeting simultaneously at the Secretariat.

The meeting's agenda includes discussions on the Viksit Andhra Pradesh 2047 Vision Document and the implementation of the P4 model (People, Public, Private, and Partnership). Key focuses will be the disbursement of loans to priority sectors, financial assistance for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and a review of annual credit plans.

Additionally, the meeting will assess the progress of decisions made during the previous SLBC session and present an action-taken report. Key government schemes, such as TIDCO housing, DWCRA loans, Mudra loans, Stand-Up India, and PM SVANidhi, will also be reviewed.

Expanding banking networks in rural areas and promoting digital banking in designated districts will be major points of discussion. The meeting will be attended by Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu, other cabinet ministers, senior banking officials, and representatives from various financial institutions.

The discussions are expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening the state’s financial infrastructure, ensuring seamless credit flow to essential sectors, and aligning banking operations with Andhra Pradesh’s long-term development goals.
