Hyderabad, January 28: Apollo Hospitals will host the 13th edition of the International Health Dialogue (IHD) on January 30 and 31, 2026, in Hyderabad, bringing together global leaders to deliberate on patient safety, healthcare innovation and system wide transformation. The theme for IHD 2026 ‘Global Voices. One Vision’ underscores a shared global commitment to building resilient, patient-centric and technology-enabled healthcare systems. The two-day programme will focus on leadership-driven safety models, human-centred design, digital transformation, and excellence in hospital operations, patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Speaking ahead of the event, Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, said the International Health Dialogue has evolved into a dynamic global platform where clinicians, innovators and policymakers come together to shape the future of healthcare. “The Hyderabad edition brings together the power of AI, data and digital ecosystems with the timeless values of empathy and collaboration, to make healthcare more predictive, sustainable and inclusive,” she said.

IHD 2026 will integrate four major conferences under one umbrella — the International Patient Safety Conference (IPSC), Healthcare Operations & Patient Experience Conference (HOPE), Transforming Healthcare with IT Conference (THIT), and CLINOVATE, which will focus on the future-ready laboratory and the growing role of diagnostics in patient safety and clinical decision-making.

The conference will witness participation from global policymakers, including Hon. Col. Maj. Garba Hakimi, Minister of Public Health, Republic of Niger; Hon. Elias Kapavore, Minister of Health and HIV/AIDS, Papua New Guinea; and Hon. Prof. Jean Rosaire Ibara, Minister of Health and Population, Republic of Congo.

Prominent international experts such as Dr Jonathan Perlin of The Joint Commission Enterprise, Dr Carsten Engel of ISQua, Dr Dean Ho of the National University of Singapore, Dr Atul Mohan Kochhar of NABH, Dr Neelam Dhingra of Joint Commission International, and Dr Eyal Zimlichman of Sheba Medical Center, Israel, will also share insights on healthcare quality, patient safety and innovation.

Key highlights of this year’s edition include Safe-A-Thon, a collaborative challenge aimed at developing practical and scalable patient safety solutions, and the launch of THNX (Technology & Healthcare Network eXchange) India’s first digital health startup community that will facilitate pitch sessions, funding opportunities and investor interactions.

With plenary sessions, innovation showcases and global networking forums, the Hyderabad edition of the International Health Dialogue is expected to reinforce India’s growing role as a hub for global healthcare thought leadership and innovation.
