Attacks on doctors distressing: IMA President

Metro India News |  MAHABUBNAGAR : Attacking Mallika Hospital is an inhuman act, and it is essential to ensure the safety and protection of doctors and medical staff who work tirelessly around the clock to save the lives of patients, said Indian Medical Association (IMA) President Dr. Ram Mohan. Dr. Ram Mohan, along with Dr. Mahesh Babu, expressed concern over the incident. They said it was unfortunate that on October 31, a group of local people along with the attendants of a patient allegedly attacked Mallika Hospital.

They stated that despite the attack and the disturbance caused at the hospital, the management acted responsibly and shifted the patient to another hospital in an ambulance to ensure continued medical care. The IMA representatives demanded strict legal action against those responsible for the attack.
