Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, during his visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, During his visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu unveiled the Global Leadership Center (GLC) initiative for Amaravati, in collaboration with the Tata Group and CII.

The GLC will partner with global and Indian institutions to enhance education, skill development, and industrial competitiveness, aiming to attract investments, create jobs, and position Andhra Pradesh as a global industrial hub.

Accompanied by Minister Nara Lokesh, Naidu held over 15 high-profile meetings with global leaders, including executives from Walmart, Cisco, Cognizant, LG Chem, and ArcelorMittal. Discussions centered on green hydrogen, energy transition, green manufacturing, and the blue economy. Naidu also engaged with Singapore’s Deputy PM Heng Swee Keat and UAE Minister Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri to strengthen economic ties.

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu addressed a special session by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on Green Industrialization. He highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s leadership in green energy, aiming for 500 MW renewable energy and 500 MMT green hydrogen by 2030.

Naidu praised PM Modi’s vision for a "Viksit Bharat 2047" and emphasized technology’s role in addressing challenges. He also announced a partnership with Switzerland's IMD Business School for a Global Leadership Centre in Amaravati. Stressing sustainability, Naidu introduced the “P4 model” of public-private-people partnership and called for corporate efforts to combat poverty and inequality.

He lauded Tata Sons' contribution to Swarnandhra 2047 and revealed green energy initiatives like EV promotion, rooftop solar expansion, and a $21 billion green hydrogen project, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a global leader in sustainability.
