BJP State President N. Ramachandra Rao's call to help the people of various districts affected by the recent heavy  rains and floods, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar responded to the call and  announced that Rs. 10 lakh would be provided to the people of Sircilla district as they were affected  due to the rains. He said that this amount would be handed over to the concerned Rajanna Sircilla District Collector soon from the MPLADS funds.

He said that the responsibility to help the people in distress lies with everyone including the state government. He said that huge damage had been caused in Sircilla district due to the heavy  rains. He also said that farmers had  suffered large-scale crop damage and added that many had  become homeless. In this context, it was stated that the MP Lads' funds would be spent by the District Collector to support the victims of the Sircilla district.
