Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the State government is implementing welfare schemes that reach every household, including farmer loan waivers, Rythu Bharosa, Rajiv Yuva Vikasam and subsidised rice.

He spoke during a public meeting organised at Errupalem mandal headquarters of Madhira constituency in Khammam district on Wednesday.

The Deputy Chief Minister said the government would soon reveal the details, with calculations, of how much has been spent on each household and village.

He criticised those who ruled a wealthy state for ten years but left it in shambles, pushing it into Rs. 7 lakh crore of debt.

"Even in the absence of revenue, the people’s government, within its first year, has implemented large-scale welfare schemes while continuing to pay interest on existing loans. Across the State, we are spending Rs. 11,600 crore on the health sector and will allocate more funds in the coming days," Bhatti Vikramarka said.

He stated that the government will construct Indiramma houses for all the homeless within five years and in the first year alone, the government is building 3,500 houses per constituency, for which we have allocated Rs. 22,500 crore.

"Under the Forest Rights Act, all farmers who received land titles will be provided free borewells, pump sets, solar electricity, palm oil, and avocado plants through the Indira Giri Watershed Development programme," Bhatti said.

He said the goal over five years is to transform one crore (10 million) women in the state into millionaires and as part of the endeavour, in the first year, the government has provided Rs. 21,000 crore to Self-Help Groups.

"In addition to government jobs, we launched the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme with Rs. 9,000 crore to help youth become self-reliant. The sanction letters will be distributed on June 2, and that five lakh unemployed youth will benefit from this scheme," he added.
