Zareen Khan confirms rejecting Bigg Boss, cites personal responsibilities and discomfort with living among strangers as key reasons

Zareen Khan, who made her debut in Veer opposite Salman Khan, has been away from acting for quite some time. There were reports that the actress was offered Bigg Boss and she rejected it. Now, in an interview with Hindi Rush, the actress confirmed that she was offered the reality show but she rejected it for multiple reasons.

While talking about Bigg Boss, Zareen said, “I love that show, I might have only missed two or three seasons in between, but I watch it.” 

Further talking about why she rejected it, the actress said, “First of all, I have so many responsibilities, so I cannot think of uprooting myself and stay somewhere for three months. I don’t think my house can function without me, I am not talking financially. There are 10 thousand things that I have to look after. If I am travelling for a day, I call my mother five to seven times to ask about her health, and other things. So, that’s the first factor.”

She further revealed, “Secondly, I don’t think I can live in a house with so many people that I don’t know. I don’t take time in making friends, but I don’t know how comfortable I will be. Also, a major reason is, ulti baat mujhe bardhaasth nahi hoti. I won’t be able to tolerate misbehaviuor. Mera haath uth jayega, fir mujhe bahar hie phenk denge. So, it is better I don’t go (laughs). Main 100% jaanti hu mera haath uth jayega.”

After making her debut with Veer, Zareen was seen in Housefull 2, Hate Story 3, Aksar 2, 1921, and Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele. Her last movie was the 2021 release Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele, and after that she has not starred in any movie. The actress had also done a few Punjabi and South movies.
