In a significant move to commemorate the centenary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, BJP Andhra Pradesh President PVN Madhav inaugurated a dedicated coordination war room at the party's state office on Sunday. The initiative aims to streamline the planning and execution of statewide programs honoring Vajpayee's legacy, highlighting his contributions to national development and coalition politics.

Speaking at the launch, Madhav announced that a grand bus yatra will kick off on December 11 with a public meeting in Dharmavaram. The yatra is designed to span across the state, raising awareness about Vajpayee's achievements. To mark the occasion, the party has extended invitations to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the inaugural day, underscoring the interstate collaboration within the BJP fold.

Madhav emphasized Vajpayee's enduring influence on Andhra Pradesh's growth. He noted that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has pledged to construct a Vajpayee Smriti Vanam as a tribute. "Vajpayee stands as a shining example for coalition governance," Madhav stated, adding that the late leader was a pioneer in fostering development in the state. As part of the centenary events, the BJP plans to install Vajpayee's statues at various locations across Andhra Pradesh.

The BJP leader also highlighted the state's ongoing transformation under the NDA alliance. He pointed out that Andhra Pradesh is on track to become a major hub for pharmaceuticals and information technology. Both the central and state governments are working in tandem to propel the state to the forefront of national progress. Additionally, Madhav mentioned plans to develop Rayalaseema as a powerhouse region, attributing affordable telecommunications in India to Vajpayee's visionary policies during his tenure.

The bus yatra is scheduled to conclude on December 25 with a large public rally in Amaravati, bringing the month-long campaign to a fitting close. To ensure the yatra's success, a special committee has been formed with Nagothu Ramesh Naidu as the state convenor. Kilari Dilip serves as the war room in-charge, supported by members including Bitra Sivanarayana, Yamini Sharma, Muvvala Venkata Subbaiah, and Pothinabise Kanteswara Rao.
