Nizamabad Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana on Wednesday criticized the Congress and other political parties extending support to what he referred to as the "Cockroach Party," alleging that they were backing activities detrimental to the nation's interests. Speaking at a protest held at Nikhil Sai Chowrasta in Nizamabad, the MLA alleged that the founder of the "Cockroach Party," Abhijit Deepke, had previously worked as a social media volunteer for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He claimed that while India was strengthening its position on the global stage, the Congress was engaging in protests and political activities for electoral gains.

The MLA alleged that the Congress was creating unrest in the name of NEET examination. He said the Central Government was taking the alleged NEET paper leak seriously and assured that legal action would be taken against those responsible. Questioning the demand for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, he asked why the minister should step down, adding that recent changes to school curriculum were being politicized.
