Telangana Formation Day was celebrated in a grand manner at the BRS district party office in Gadwal on Monday under the leadership of constituency BRS in-charge Basu Hanumanth Naidu. Alampur MLA Vijayudu attended the programme as the chief guest and unfurled the National Flag and the party flag.
A large number of party leaders, activists and supporters participated in the celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, leaders recalled the long struggle for a separate Telangana state and said it was achieved through a democratic and peaceful parliamentary movement despite numerous challenges and decades of discrimination.
They stated that Telangana has witnessed rapid progress since its formation and has emerged as one of the leading states in the country. The speakers highlighted achievements in irrigation, drinking water supply, electricity, agriculture, education, healthcare and welfare sectors, describing Telangana as a model state for development.
The leaders credited the previous BRS government for expanding irrigation facilities and strengthening agriculture, which helped transform Telangana into a prosperous farming state. They urged people to safeguard the state’s interests and continue supporting its development journey.
