In a daring overnight heist, two Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) buses parked at the Uppal bus stop were broken into by unknown thieves.

The incident took place in the early hours of Tuesday when burglars entered a Super Luxury and a Rajdhani bus, both from the Thorrur depot. They stole cash, mobile phones, and important documents from the drivers’ cabins.

The drivers, who had finished their night routes and were resting inside the buses, discovered the theft upon waking. They promptly reported the incident to the Uppal Police.

An investigation is underway, with authorities reviewing CCTV footage from nearby cameras to track down the suspects. This event has raised serious concerns about the security measures in place at the public transport stop.
