Mancherial District Collector Kumar Deepak on Thursday directed officials to carry out the ongoing land survey across Mancherial district in a systematic and transparent manner to ensure accurate land records and speedy resolution of land-related issues.

Addressing a program held at Maddikal village in Bhimaram mandal, along with Tahsildar Sadanand, the Collector said that applications related to land disputes received during the Bhu Bharati revenue conferences should be verified at the field level by examining official records before appropriate action is taken.

He said decisions would be taken in accordance with government rules after considering land records, Moka (field measurement records), pattadar details and other relevant documents. The Collector noted that demarcating the boundaries of all lands in a village would bring greater clarity regarding land ownership and also help identify and protect government lands. He said a special committee would examine cases where landowners possess title deeds but their names are not reflected in Moka records, as well as cases where Moka records exist without corresponding ownership documents.

Later, the Collector visited the Government Tribal Ashram School at the mandal headquarters, where he inspected classrooms, the kitchen, school registers, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the campus.
