Jayashankar Bhupalpally District Collector Rahul Sharma conducted an extensive tour of Kataram mandal on Thursday, inspecting several government offices and educational institutions. During the visit, he reviewed the quality of public services, implementation of welfare schemes, agricultural support services, and revenue administration at the grassroots level. He also issued key directions to officials to improve service delivery.

The Collector began his visit at the Anganwadi Centre in Ankushapur village, where he interacted with children and enquired about their health, nutrition, and educational development. He reviewed the services being provided at the center and distributed Balamrutham nutritional supplement and eggs to lactating mothers and young children. Later, Collector Rahul Sharma inspected the Government Primary School in the village and examined the quality of the midday meal being served to students.

He also stressed the importance of promoting personal hygiene among students through awareness programs and instructed officials to keep the school premises clean by removing weeds and overgrown vegetation. The Collector then visited the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS) center at Kataram, where he reviewed urea booking details, fertilizer stocks, and inventory management with Agriculture Department officials and the PACS Chief Executive Officer.

Interacting directly with farmers, he enquired whether the urea booking process was functioning smoothly and sought feedback on any difficulties they were facing. He directed officials to make necessary arrangements for urea distribution through Rythu Vedikas to ensure farmers do not face inconvenience.
