AMARAVATI: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday reviewed arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Andhra Pradesh on October 16. The review, held at the State Secretariat, was attended by ministers and top officials, including the Chief Secretary and DGP.
Modi will visit the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Srisailam and later address a public meeting in Nannur, Orvakal mandal, Kurnool, as part of the GST Reforms Utsav. Andhra Pradesh, the first state to pass a resolution supporting GST 2.0, is marking the reforms with a month-long campaign from Dussehra to Diwali.
The CM instructed officials to ensure foolproof arrangements, including drinking water, traffic control, parking, and weather preparedness. He called the event “prestigious,” stressing security, logistics, and public convenience. Departments were directed to coordinate closely for a seamless and successful visit.
