Andhra Pradesh Water Resources Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu on Monday hailed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s evolving approach to water management, describing him as the State’s “Water Man” and saying national media recognition of his efforts was a matter of pride for Telugu people. Referring to a recent article published by a national media organization, Ramanaidu said Naidu had successfully adapted his vision for water resources to the changing requirements of Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation.
The Minister said the Chief Minister’s priorities had evolved from addressing the water and irrigation needs of the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh to tackling the specific challenges faced by the newly formed State. He said the national media’s recognition of Naidu’s contribution was significant and reflected the importance of his long-term vision for the State’s water resources.
Ramanaidu said Naidu’s efforts to strengthen irrigation and water management deserved appreciation from people across Andhra Pradesh. He called upon the Telugu people to acknowledge and congratulate the Chief Minister for his contribution to developing and securing the State’s water resources. Describing the recognition as a matter of collective pride, the Minister said Naidu deserved a standing ovation for his sustained efforts and vision in the water sector. He urged people to recognize the Chief Minister’s contribution and support his initiatives aimed at addressing Andhra Pradesh’s long-term irrigation and water requirements.
