Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will hand over appointment letters to candidates selected through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group-II recruitment on October 18. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao announced that the event will be held at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad in the evening.
Reviewing the arrangements with senior officials at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Tuesday, the Chief Secretary said a total of 783 candidates from 16 departments will receive their appointment letters from the Chief Minister. Ministers of the State will also attend the ceremony, and selected candidates are allowed to bring their family members, who must reach the venue by 4 p.m.
Ramakrishna Rao directed officials to expedite verification of certificates and ensure the event is conducted in a dignified manner that instills a sense of pride and responsibility among the new recruits who will serve the government for the next three decades. Departments such as General Administration, Revenue, Commercial Taxes, Excise, and Panchayat Raj account for the majority of the appointments.
The Chief Secretary instructed the Secretaries of Revenue, Home, and GAD to coordinate the arrangements. Senior officials including DGP Shivadher Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj, Principal Secretaries Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka, Rizvi, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan participated in the review meeting, along with Special Commissioner of Information and Public Relations Priyanka and other key officers.
