Collector reviews education and facilities

District Collector K. Haritha conducted a surprise inspection of the Rasimetta Girls’ Ashram High School in Jainoor mandal on Friday. 

During the visit, she inspected the school’s vegetable storeroom, toilets, and bathrooms. She also interacted with the students to find out whether proper drinking water facilities were available and whether meals were being served according to the prescribed menu. 

The Collector further inquired with both students and teachers about whether teaching was being conducted properly and whether teachers were attending school on time. 

Speaking on the occasion, Collector K. Haritha emphasized that special attention should be given to students’ health and that teachers must maintain punctuality. 

The headmistress Anitha was not present during the inspection. It was informed to that she had gone to the hospital for treatment.
