Collector seeks hotel owners’ partnership for Tourism development

The NTR District Collector, Dr. G. Lakshmisha, has called upon hotel owners to play a pivotal role in the district's ambitious tourism development plan.

In a meeting with hotel owners on Thursday, Dr. Lakshmisha emphasized the district's potential to become a major tourist hub. He revealed that the administration is working on a comprehensive tourism package to attract a larger number of visitors.

Highlighting the district's rich tourist attractions such as Kanakadurga Temple, Bhavani Island, Kondapalli Toy-Making Centre, and Kondapalli Fort, the Collector stated that the administration is committed to developing infrastructure at these sites to enhance the tourist experience.

The Collector further informed that the administration is conducting a series of meetings with stakeholders to finalize the package. “We are considering all suggestions to formulate a comprehensive action plan,” he added.

Among those present at the meeting were the District Tourism Officer, A. Shilpa, and representatives from the AP Hotels Association, including RV Swami and V. Raghavendra.
