Collector stresses on quality while procuring paddy

Mancherial District Collector Kumar Deepak has directed officials to procure quality paddy from farmers strictly as per government norms through the designated procurement centres. On Monday, the Collector visited the paddy procurement centres set up at Polampalli and Bheemar in Bheemar Mandal of Chennur Assembly Constituency and inspected the ongoing procurement operations.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector Kumar Deepak instructed the officials and staff to ensure that farmers do not face any inconvenience at the centres. He emphasised the need to provide essential facilities including drinking water, shaded waiting areas, gunny bags, tarpaulin covers, moisture testing machines, paddy cleaners, and other necessary amenities.
