Collector visits girls’ hostel

As part of the 99 days “Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika” inititive, Mahabubabad District Collector Sneha Sabarish participated in the program held at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Girls’ Hostel in Gooduru Marimetta on Monday. The Collector had lunch along with the children at the hostel.

On this occasion, the Collector inspected the premises of the hostel. She informed that every day of the week will focus on a specific theme, with special programs covering sanitation, minor repairs, health, cleanliness of store areas and other related aspects in all hostels.

The Collector instructed that medical examinations should be conducted for the kitchen staff as per the scheduled timetable. She emphasized that nutritious, tasty and quality food must be served strictly as per the prescribed diet chart. She also directed officials to install complaint boxes in all hostels. She further asked authorities to organize training on sports, mental development and other holistic activities along with academics.

The Collector stated that, as per government orders, a detailed plan has already been prepared and each officer has been assigned specific hostels and educational institutions in the district to conduct the Welfare Week celebrations effectively from April 20 to 26.
