Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar while noting that applause is possible only when two hands come together, said that development was achievable only when the Centre and the State governments collaborate with each other.

He alleged that Telangana state suffered greatly due to the previous government's foolish administration and added that Funds were flowing from the Centre precisely because the current state government was cooperating with the centre while noting that Adequate funds are being secured to connect villages to the mandal headquarters. He noted that he had secured funds worth Rs 22,000 crore for the development of the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency over the past seven years.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar visited Bollaram village in the Vemulawada Assembly constituency of Rajanna Sircilla district on Sunday . Together with local MLA and Government Whip Adi Srinivas, he laid the foundation stone for the road expansion work from Bollaram to Sirikonda—which is part of the broader Vemulawada-Sirikonda road expansion project. Following the ceremony, Bandi Sanjay spoke to the media along with  Adi Srinivas and BJP leaders Pratap Ramakrishna and Chennamaneni Vikas Rao.

"I am happy to have laid the foundation stone today—alongside the  local MLA and Government Whip Adi Srinivas—for the project to expand and strengthen the road from Vemulawada to Sirikonda (covering approximately 18.21 km) in Rajanna Sircilla district, utilizing the Central Road Infrastructure Fund." The Centre has sanctioned Rs 23 crores  for these works under the CRIF (Central Road Infrastructure Fund). A six-month deadline has been set for the completion of the project as per the agreement.

The scope of the work includes road widening and strengthening, the construction of cement concrete (CC) road sections and pipe culverts, the installation of CC drains within village limits and the implementation of road safety measures. This project will significantly save time for commuters and motorists traveling through the villages of Mamidipalli, Bausaipeta, Ramannapalli, and Govindaraopeta Thanda,” he said .

Reiterating that Development is possible only when the Central and State governments work together, he said that Politics was limited to the election period and added that once the elections are  over, their  focus shifts entirely to the development of the constituency for the people who elected them.

He said that they secured Rs 5,000 crores solely for the expansion of national highways and added that they had  mobilized and utilized further funds for village road construction under the CRIF, the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. “There is no precedent of any MP , who has served this constituency bringing in funds on this scale before.

As you know, we recently launched a project to widen the 35-km single-lane road—stretching from Arnakonda village in Choppadandi Mandal, through Gopal Raopet , to Malyala—into a double-lane road at a cost of Rs 50 crores. Regarding National Highways, work is progressing rapidly on the Karimnagar-Warangal National Highway (funded with Rs 2,147 crore) and the Elkathurthy-Siddipet National Highway (funded with Rs 578 crore).

The Centre has also given the green signal for the expansion of the Karimnagar-Jagtial road—a long-standing aspiration of the people of Karimnagar and Jagtial—sanctioning over Rs 2,003 crore for the project. Choppadandi MLA Medipalli Satyam is extending full cooperation in this matter. We even visited Delhi and met the Union Minister. We are set to commence the work very soon. Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas is also extending his cooperation,” Sanjay noted .

He said that he would strive for the constituency's development by bringing everyone together by rising above partisan politics. “Let us join hands—regardless of whether people voted for the Congress or BRS party —to fulfill their aspirations and transform the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency, including Vemulawada and Sircilla, into a model constituency for the entire nation. I urge public representatives and leaders from all parties to come forward and join this effort,” he said.
