DCC bank holds cyber security awareness program

Metro India News | NIZAMABAD : A cyber security awareness program was organised at the head office of The Nizamabad District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd. The session was led by Cyber Crime Department Sub-Inspector Ravi Naidu, who briefed bank staff on the rising incidence of cybercrimes and online frauds and the precautions needed to prevent them. He advised employees not to share OTPs, PINs, passwords or banking details with anyone; not to click on suspicious links, messages or emails; to use strong passwords; and to access banking services only on secure networks.

He also urged anyone who falls victim to cyber fraud to report it immediately to the National Cyber Crime Helpline on 1930.Bank CEO Nagabhushanam Vande felicitated SI Ravi Naidu and congratulated him on the programme. Senior officials, branch managers and head office staff attended the event.
