Vehicle drivers can reach home safely only if they strictly follow traffic rules, said Mancherial Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Eggadi Bhaskar. Speaking as the Chief guest at a training and awareness program organized on Friday under the ‘Arrive – Alive’ initiative at the Mandamarri Toll Plaza, the DCP emphasized the importance of road safety. He highlighted that the ‘Golden Hour’ is extremely critical for road accident victims. He urged every citizen to consider it their responsibility to immediately shift injured persons to the nearest hospital.

The DCP also explained the vital role of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in saving lives during road accidents. “When a person’s heart stops or breathing ceases, performing CPR immediately can greatly improve the chances of survival,” he noted. Medical experts present at the event demonstrated the correct procedure for administering CPR practically and provided training to drivers and the public.

In an activity that attracted significant attention, the organizers staged a street play featuring actors dressed as Yama Dharmaraja (the God of Death) and Chitragupta. Through this skit, they educated vehicle users about the dangers of violating traffic rules and the potential loss of lives.
