Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan attended the Amrit Mahotsav of former Supreme Court Judge V. Gopala Gowda in Chintamani, Karnataka. Recalling his early political days, Pawan said Justice Gowda had encouraged him after his first electoral loss, calling him a source of inspiration for Jana Sena’s protests, including against the Land Acquisition Act and uranium mining in Nallamala. He praised Gowda as a fearless voice who upheld constitutional values and workers’ rights through landmark judgments.

Pawan shared that Gowda personally congratulated him on becoming Deputy CM, calling such blessings a strength for future generations.

Meanwhile, the Deputy CM is set to begin a statewide tour from Kurupam in Parvathipuram Manyam district, where he will visit a Gurukula school after students fell ill. He will also visit his constituency Pithapuram, along with Prakasam, Nellore, and Razole, engaging in official programmes and meetings with Jana Sena leaders and cadres.
