Dhanvantari investors oppose Telangana govt auction plan

21-12-2025 12:00:00 AM

The Dhanvantari Investors Welfare Association strongly opposed the Telangana government’s proposed public auction of assets belonging to the Dhanvantari International Foundation, citing potential losses to investors.

Addressing a press conference at NSS in Hyderguda, association representatives — Prasanna, Ramakrishna, Rajendra Prasad Sharma, Vijayaraghava, and Chaitanya — claimed that Giriprasad Sharma, president of the Dhanvantari Victims Forum, was misleading investors. They alleged that Sharma, a dismissed constable with a criminal record, was promising recovery of funds through false claims, despite not having invested in the company.

The investors clarified that no final verdict has been delivered in the ongoing High Court case, which has been adjourned to December 22, contradicting Sharma’s claims. They warned that public auctions typically recover only 25–30% of the market value, causing heavy losses to rightful investors.

The association unanimously condemned both the auction plan and misinformation circulating on social media, calling for transparency and protection of investors’ interests.
