District level Badminton Championship concludes

The Kamareddy District-level Badminton Championships concluded on Sunday. According to Kamareddy District Badminton Association General Secretary Sudhakar Goud, several talented players were selected to represent the district in the upcoming State-level Badminton Championships across multiple categories. The tournaments, organized under the auspices of the District Badminton Association, witnessed impressive performances from numerous players who showcased their skills and competitive spirit.

The selected players were felicitated by the association for their outstanding performances. Selections were made in the Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls. In addition, players were chosen in the Masters sections — 35+, 45+, 55+, and 65+ age groups — to compete at the state level. The successful conduct of the district championships is expected to boost badminton in the region and provide a strong platform for young and senior players to shine at higher-level competitions.
