Hyderabad: Students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Warangal, Pendyala Medha and Zoya Tahmeena of Class XI (MEC), brought laurels to their institution by showcasing exceptional innovation at the prestigious School Youth Ideathon 2025. Representing the school as Team Elevare, the students impressed judges at the grand finale held on Sunday at IIT Delhi.
The national-level event was jointly organized by ThinkStartup and the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC), in association with CBSE. Guided by their mentor, faculty member Kasipeta Manoj Raj, the students developed an AI-powered mobile application titled ‘FarmLink’. The app aims to address major challenges faced by farmers by directly connecting them with markets, enabling better marketing of agricultural produce and ensuring fair pricing.
By leveraging artificial intelligence, FarmLink minimizes the role of intermediaries and promotes transparency, empowering farmers with improved access to buyers and real-time market information. The innovative concept received high appreciation from judges, entrepreneurs, and industry experts for its potential impact on India’s agriculture sector.
In a felicitation ceremony at the school, Chairman V. Ravi Kiran Reddy, Principal Dr. Inna Reddy, and the faculty congratulated the students and encouraged them to pursue socially impactful innovations. DPS Warangal’s achievement reflects its strong focus on nurturing creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving skills among students at the national level.
