Drive against Chinese Manja: Police register 18 cases and seized 1094 bobbins

The sleuths of Mangalhat PS, Goshamahal Division, South West Zone, Hyderabad received credible information regarding the selling of banned Chinese Manza.

They have conducted a special drive from November 10, 2024 to January 2, 2025 and registered 18 cases against the 22 respective accused persons so far and also they seized 1094 bobbins which were made with synthetic products, non-bio degradable items, from the possession of the respective accused persons.

Further police seriously instructed the shop holders who used to sell kites and Manza in the limits of PS Mangalhat, regarding not to sell the banned Chinese Manza, if any fails to follow the instructions severe action will be initiated against them.

Police said that they have conducted several meetings in the area with the locality people and the customers who used to come for purchase the Manza, regarding proper precautions shall be taken during flying kites, and must be planned for a building which must contain a compound wall, railing to avoid fall from the building.

Also strictly instructed them not to purchase the banned Chinese Manza which is made with synthetic products, non-bio degradable items to avoid the cause of harm to human lives, birds and animals, if any fails in following the instructions they must be liable for punishment, said police.
