Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials issued notices to the Tollywood celebrities accused in the betting app case on Monday. It is known that the police have already questioned many people in the case. In this order, the ED officials have sent notices to actors Daggubati Rana, Prakash Raj, Vijay Deverakonda and Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna to appear before them for questioning.

The ED officials said in the notice that Daggubati Rana should appear for questioning on July 23, Prakash Raj on July 30, Vijay Deverakonda on August 6 and Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna on August 13. The ED officials have found that they promoted foreign betting apps. The ED officials will investigate Daggubati Rana, Prakash Raj, Vijay Deverakonda and Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna from the angle of money laundering issue.

An investigation will be conducted into the manner in which the celebrities got the money from the companies for promoting the betting apps. Hyderabad and Cyberabad police have already registered cases in the issue. The ED officials have registered an ECIR based on these FIRs. The ED officials say many people were attracted to the betting apps as they are promoted by the celebrities.
