‘Evwaah Weavers Hub’ expo inaugurated by actress Amala

Actress and Blue Cross of Hyderabad Co- Founder Amala Akkineni inaugurated the 2-day, “Evwaah – Weavers Hub” exhibition at Firewater Neo Bar & Kitchen, Nanakramguda.  The exhibition is being organized by socialite Alekhya Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, Amala said that handloom and silk hold a unique and prestigious place in Indian culture.  Addressing the gathering, organizer Alekhya Reddy said the exhibition features an exclusive collection of traditional and handcrafted textiles, with more than a thousand varieties of handloom sarees on display.

The exhibition motive is to get pure silk & cotton products direct from weavers to costumer without merchant, she added.

 The event also includes renowned weaves such as Pochampally, Paithani, Patan Patola main social objective of the handloom exhibition to promote weavers and provide a market to the handloom industry. The expo will be on till 5th April 2026.
