The AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy sponsored Six-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Integration of Quantum Computing and Al in Healthcare, Agriculture, and Transportation" was conducted by the TKR College of Engineering and Technology from 20th to 25th July 2026. The sessions provided participants with theoretical knowledge and practical insights into the latest advancements in quantum technologies and their integration with Artificial Intelligence.

The program featured several hands-on training sessions where participants learned to install and use IBM Qiskit and gained practical experience in implementing Quantum Machine Learning for Healthcare Diagnostics, Quantum Optimization using QAOA with Qiskit, Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) Protocols using Photonic Qubits and Quantum Neural Networks (QNN) for Binary Classification.

Participants visited the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Hyderabad, where they explored the Quantum Computing Laboratory.  The successful organization of the program was made possible through the constant encouragement and support of Dr. A. Ramaswamy Reddy, Principal, the management, FDP coordinator, participants and organizing committee.
