Falaknuma police on Monday arrested three persons on charges of  committing a murder Falaknuma. On May  2, they received a complaint from  Mohammed Azam  , resident of Falaknuma that his brother  Md. Majid,aged 26 years was killed by unknown persons at Star Coffee Day & Star Pan Mahal, near Metro Bakery, Teegalkunta, Falaknum.

A case was registered in Cr.No.165/2025 U/s 103(1), 238, r/w 3(5) BNS & Sec. 25 (1)(A) Arms Act of PS Falaknuma. On receiving credible information on Monday,  Adi Reddy Inspector of Police along with his team apprehended the Shaik Mohd Ali (A-1), Shaik Osman Ali(A-2) , Shaik Akthar Ali (A-3) all residents of Bandlaguda.

Further as per their confessions, the police seized two knives which were used in the commission of offence also seized three mobile phones of the accused persons. The arrests were made under the supervision of Sneha Mehra Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone and M.A Javeed, ACP, Falaknuma Division. As per police,the complainant and accused families were neighbours residing at Mohammed Nagar Bandlaguda in the year-2018.

At that time some issues arose between them. Complainant Mohammed Azam’s family later shifted to Falaknuma. After that A1 Shaik Mohd Ali ‘s mother expired and his brother’s health kept  deteriorating. A1 and his family members were under illusion that complainant family members were doing the black magic against the accused and his family members. Keeping the grudge, accused persons decided to eliminate one of the family members.
